DESIGN STORY When groups of Red Cockatoos gather and fill the sky with their calls, it is known as a sign that rain is on the way. They move between land and sky, carrying messages of renewal, abundance and the coming shift in weather.

Known for its striking presence and significance, the Kurri Kurri Marrpu (Red-tailed Black Cockatoo) brooch brings depth to any look. A limited-run layered resin design from the Erstwilder x Brooke Sutton collection that holds attention with meaning.

ABOUT: Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps are made with a 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Please note, components change over time and may be made with other materials. Designs come packaged in Erstwilder gift boxes.
