DESIGN STORY One Spring morning, a mid-race respite proved to be the undoing of an overconfident speedster, not to mention the lucky break his slow-but-sure competition needed to own the day.

Super fast and slow and steady, all at once in drop earring form! Created for Part 2 of the Erstwilder x Pete Cromer Fairy Tales accessory story, these limited-run hand-assembled layered resin drop earrings capture the fable of the Tortoise and the Hare through Pete Cromer's warmth and playful timing. Also available as a matching brooch, while stocks last.

ABOUT: Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers.

All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are. Earrings hooks are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel. Earring posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel or silver-plated brass. Please note, components change over time and may be made with other materials.
