DESIGN STORY Sun up, tongue out! I spend my days chasing termites with laser focus and a tongue so long it deserves its own postcode.
Bright-eyed and wonderfully distinctive, the Numbat Brooch celebrates one of Australia’s most endangered, beloved and unique native animals. Hand-assembled from layered resin and released as a limited-run piece of wearable art, it’s a joyful nod to curiosity, energy, and unmistakable charm.
Proudly supporting FAME (The Foundation for Australia's Most Endangered Species Ltd) with $2 from the sale of this design and all designs in The Rarest Kind collection donated.
Brooch Size: 54mm x 68mm (H x W)
ABOUT:
Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.
Brooch clasps are made with a 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Please note, components change over time and may be made with other materials. Designs come packaged in Erstwilder gift boxes.
