Product Details

DESIGN STORY In the Land of the Old Woman who Lived in a Shoe is a shoe that was once owned by a giant before being very cleverly transformed into a cottage. Here the Old Woman lives with her twenty, rather naughty, children.

Erstwilder presents: Fleur Harris x Enid Blyton 'The Magic Faraway Tree'. A house shaped like a shoe is the kind of wonderfully odd idea that makes childhood stories linger in the imagination. The Shoe House Brooch has been hand-assembled from layered resin as limited-run wearable art. Quirky, nostalgic and full of fairy-tale personality, this design is a playful piece for those who love accessories with a little architectural whimsy.

Hand assembled using rich layered resins, finished with printed detailing.

Limited-run and created as part of The Magic Faraway Tree collection.

Brooch Dimensions: 66mm x 57mm (H x W)

ABOUT: Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps are made with a 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Please note, components change over time and may be made with other materials. Designs come packaged in Erstwilder gift boxes.
