Silky's Door Brooch

DESIGN STORY The yellow door is set neatly in the big trunk of the Faraway Tree with its little door-knocker and a brightly-polished bell. Behind it waits kindness, warm food and dear Silky the fairy.

Erstwilder presents: Fleur Harris x Enid Blyton 'The Magic Faraway Tree'. Hidden within the trunk of the Faraway Tree sits a tiny doorway that generations of readers wished they could step through themselves. The Silky’s Door Brooch captures that feeling beautifully, transforming the cosy woodland home into limited-run wearable art. Hand-assembled from layered resin, this charming design is filled with warmth, whimsy and nostalgic detail.

ABOUT: Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps are made with a 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Please note, components change over time and may be made with other materials. Designs come packaged in Erstwilder gift boxes.
